Dale Rae Competition Entries/Winners - Chicago, IL - October 6-9, 2004

First Place Winner in Category - Kitty Collier in 1893/94 Ball Gown
Ensemble features top and skirt made from teal synthetic dupioni. Skirt is trimmed with 3" black net lace that has been hand-beaded and decorated with glitter glue - top of lace is trimmed with black Venice lace, also hand-beaded. Bodice features Venice, hand-beaded lace trim around neckline and bottom, lace sleeves and velvet ribbon/peacock feather trim. Outfit is completed with matching silver/black bead/feather tiara, jewelry, silver gloves, and silver mask.
















First Place Winner in Category - Kitty Collier in 1960s Outfit (1967)

Ensemble features white textured hose, white boots, red/black/ white check skirt and jacket
(trimmed with black), red turtleneck bodysuit, red purse and hat, gold earrings and a copy of "Honey" magazine (a 1960s British fashion magazine).








Kitty was customized with a wig (cut and re-styled), new make-up and eyelashes.

Second Place Winner in Category - Kitty Collier in 1893 Costume
Ensemble featured a lavender silk skirt trimmed with loop and velvet flower trim,
white organza blouse with lavender floral embroidery and cameo "pin", black shearling
cape, decorated hat, grey gloves, lavender earrings and black velvet purse.
